Cotton Hollow Kitchen was such a magical find! It’s truly one of the most gluten-free friendly restaurants we’ve come across in a very long time, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. We even had the chance to meet the owner, who was so warm and welcoming, and shared the heartfelt history behind why the restaurant is so committed to being GF friendly. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxed, the staff couldn’t have been kinder, and the food, was simply 5 stars across the board. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and safe for those of us who are gluten-free, without ever compromising on flavor. If you’re looking for a place that truly “gets it” when it comes to gluten-free dining, look no further. Cotton Hollow Kitchen is a gem!
While our initial greeting left a lot to be desired (not warm and welcoming at all/maybe an “off” day), everything that followed was awesome! We sat in the bar which is spacious and modern looking. Lively but not too loud. Our server was great, super friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. I love that they offer Happy Hour daily as I like to try a few different things rather than order a meal. I don’t normally order dessert but I couldn’t resist getting my favorite crème brûlée. We will definitely be back!
If I could give Cotton Hollow Kitchen above 5 stars, I absolutely would! The restaurant and bar are beautiful, and the staff was so incredibly friendly. The head bartender has created some really creative drinks - our favorites were their new Continental Kiss and Stars Over Singapore! I really enjoyed how their menu was full of comfort food, but more upscale. So many unique items too, like the pub burger that can be ordered on a Portuguese muffin! Dessert was an amazing banana trifle with amazing gelato, homemade banana pudding, and berries in red wine at the bottom. I’ve never seen a dessert like that at any other restaurant! I also really appreciated that they had a whole separate gluten-free menu so that no one feels left out. We sat in the dining room, but live music was playing at the bar, and it made a nice ambiance. We need to come back and check out their brunch next time!
We dined in on a Wednesday night and was served by Karen. She was very friendly, attendant and helpful. At her suggestion we tried the skirt steak and Salmon. They were both very flavorful and big portions. We also ordered the mac and cheese which was super cheesy and different but very good! We tried the Korean chili wings and they were delicious. There was live music and the atmosphere was lively considering it wasn’t crowded. The drinks recommended by Karen were also tasty. We are from New York so to us the prices were very reasonable considering the quantity and quality of the food! Will be back again.
Cotton Hollow Kitchen has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in town. The food is always top notch, flavor exploding and the drinks are super delicious!! Great family restaurant, date night, anyone and anything really! The staff is phenomenal and let’s talk about the design… CHK is immaculately designed and styled. Beyond beautiful, careful details- incredibly classy! We will definitely keep coming back.
We held my wife's surprise birthday party in the back dining area that's separated by serving stations. They did an outstanding job - great food, attentive wait staff and very clean, including sparkling restrooms. As proof, at least three of our 19 guests remarked that they wanted to come back on their own. I worked with Liz for two months planning the party. It was easy. They offered a special seasonal menu of salmon (pictured), chicken and pasta with either a garden or Caesar salad. All were gluten-free. We brought our own cake instead of opting for their cookie platter and they charged a reasonable $2 plate fee. Although they don't have a separate walled-off room, we felt it was private enough. Very nice people with great attitudes. I wouldn't hesitate to host another party there even though they're 32 miles from our house.
This place is amazing! We went here to celebrate my birthday! It was totally worth the 1hr drive. The food was delicious and they have plenty of gluten-free options if you need them. The staff was so kind and when they heard I was celebrating my birthday they gave me a card and brought out my dessert with a candle on it. They have hand towels in the bathroom to reduce waste, but there are multiple. You use it and drop it in the bin on the floor for them to wash. They had live music and she was awesome. The staff and servers were all extremely kind and welcoming. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves and we look forward ro coming back!
Food is always good - their burgers are incredible. Never ordered a burger I didn’t love. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which are really nice. Service is always great. This is a must-go place!
We came for happy hour (3-5:30 in bar room only) and enjoyed three offerings—a steak taco, beef sliders with cheese sauce and steamed mussels with white wine, lemon butter and herbs. Each item was tasty. Nine large and tender mussels were super amazing—even the broth was delicious! We skipped on to dessert: creme brulee and New York cheesecake. A yummy finale!
Great spot for any meal! Food and staff were excellent and the small details make it unique and cool! Photos don’t show how good the food looked but clearly show how good it tasted! Chickpea patty, frittata & lobster roll were standouts that we ordered!
